Eduard has recently released four detail sets to dress up Monogram's classic B-26 Marauder kit.

Along with many of their 1/48 scale bombers released between the 1960s and the 1990s, the Marauder is a worthwhile and attractive kit.

Any or all of these Eduard detail sets will noticeably enhance the basic kit.

48 561 - B-26 Marauder Exterior

This is a large set with parts contained on three frets covering detail for the engine, including the prominent ignition wiring harnesses and airframe.

The wheel wells are almost replaced with new, highly detailed bulkheads and sidewalls. Perforated grilles and vents will also add a new dimension to the model's exterior.

48 562 - B-26 Marauder Bomb Bay

This two-fret set contains a super detailed bomb bay to liven up the lower surfaces

49 029 - B-26 Marauder Seat Belts

This is a colour photo-etched set with full harness for the pilot and lap belts for the unfortunate remainder of the crew.

In common with other Eduard harness sets, the painted detail is exquisite, right down to precisely printed stitches on the webbing. Eduard has even depicted the leather texture on the anti-chafing pads!

49 372 - B-26 Marauder Interior

This one is the jewel in the crown. The focus is on the cockpit with wonderfully detailed colour photo-etched parts for the instrument panels and consoles.

A second large photo etched fret also contains many small and large interior details.

Conclusion

If you have some experience working with photo-etched parts, these sets will help transform your classic 1/48 scale Monogram Marauder into a superdetailed masterpiece.

All Recommended.
