Well Two Bobs it at it again with another round of superb modern jet decals. This time the subject is F-15E “Too Cool for School Mudhens” from the 57th Weapons Wing based at Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Markings for two aircraft from the unit are included on this sheet:

• F-15E 900257, 57th Wing, April 2007 - This jet wears the markings of the 17th WPS.

• F-15E 900262, 57th Win, April 2007

Both jets are overall Gunship Grey FS36118 just like virtually all other USAF Strike Eagles. As usual with a Two bobs sheet you get full color instructions including thumbnail photos of the actual jets on the sheet. While the photos are small they do give the modeler an idea when it comes to actual markings placement and weathering. They are a virtual moment in time that a modeler can base their project on.

Another cool thing that Bob has always done on his sheets is list what is currently available for the modeler as far as kits and aftermarket.

The decals themselves are printed by Microscale and the register is spot on. Included is a standard 5x7 ½ inch sheet with all of the pertinent markings and stencils as well as an insert sheet which includes the “stars and bars” and two sets of no step walkways for the horizontal stabs. The modeler is able to build both jets completely with this set of decals.
