F-86F Sabre

F-86F Sabre

Revell's 1/48 scale Sabre Mk.6 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here is my 1/48 scale F-86F Sabre by Revell/Hasegawa built straight from the box.

I used Aaztec decals for this particular jet.

This Sabre served in Fuerza Aerea Argentina from the 1960s to the 1980s. Argentine Sabres were ex USAF model F block 30‚ but upgraded with the new wing typical of block 40.

This very intresting Sabre ( for me one of the most impressive and aggressive camouflage schemes adopted by Sabres) was based in El Plumerillo in 1981. Argentine Sabres were also employed to patrol the border line with Chile during Malvinas (Falklands) war.
