Academy's 1/32 scale F/A-18C Hornet is available online from Squadron.com

Here are some photos of my 1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet. As many Gallery entries attest, this is a gorgeous kit, although quite ambitious in scope for the first kit I've started in nearly 10 years.

My Hornet was built straight from the box except for a replacement resin seat.

Decals are hodge-podge of TwoBob's VFA-25 "Fist of the Fleet" lettering and US markings, kit data markings, and custom-made unit emblems (updated since TwoBob's released their set) and carrier designation (USS Ronald Reagan).

I preshaded and "post-washed" panel lines for the first time with good results.
