Hasegawa's 1/48 scale F/A-18E is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my Hasegawa 1/48 scale F/A-18E Super Hornet built straight from the box except an "unknown brand" resin seat (not very good, the kit seat would have been perfectly adequate) and minor surgery to the pilot's right hand.

I borrowed some GBU bombs from the Hobby Boss A-10 so the ordnance won't be very accurate, but I felt like building a fully loaded aircraft and this combination looked attractive to me. I hope the experts will forgive me...

The upper black and yellow scheme has been masked and painted, as working with the kit decals looked much more complicated and the final result would have been less realistic to my eyes. I've also used some Hi-Decals stencils too.
