Italeri's 1/72 scale Hawk 100 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

This is the BAE Hawk Mk.100 1/72 Italeri kit. It is is a very nice kit in my opinion.

The model comes with two decals schemes, the RAF and Royal Australian Air Force. I decided to go for the RAAF version.

My kit is built almost straight from the box, except that I decided to cut off the flaps to have them on extended position. To fill in the gap between the wing and the flap I used a 0.5 x 1.0mm styrene strip, and some styrene strips on the wheel wells.

To paint the lighter color I used 50% of Light Ghost Gray and 50% of White. The darker color was a mix of 7 drops of white, 5 drops of Light Ghost Gray, 6 Drops of Dark Gull Gray and 2 drops of Blue.

I used the kit's decals and made a light acrylic wash overall the panel lines.
