Hasegawa's 1/48 scale J7W1 Shinden
“Capital Defender 1946”

J7W1 Shinden

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale "Capital Defender 1946" kit is available online from Squadron.com

Description

This is my interpretation of Hasegawa's opportunity to build a fictitious J7W1 Shinden.

I used the two resin auxiliary tanks enclosed in this special boxing of the venerable J7W1 kit, added seat belts and some scratch built parts in the cockpit.

I also replaced the kit parts of the gun muzzles with hypodermic needles.

Gunze acrylics and Alclad colours were used for the natural metal finish.

If you are interested in the building process, you may take a look at this link to the “JAM” discussion forum.
