Trumpeter's 1/32 scale MiG-3 is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my Trumpeter MiG-3 in 1/32 scale.

I like to try something new with each model, and in this case it was my first attempt at a winter camouflage and use of the Montex mask system.

Keen VVS observers will note that these markings belong to an aircraft that was carrying the standard two-tone camouflage, so I have taken some historic license in marrying these striking markings to a winter camouflage.

The Montex masks were simple to use and performed flawlessly.

The aircraft was painted using Gunze acrylics and Alclad II, all shot through my Badger 150 airbrush.
