Description

 

Here is Paul Gillan's 1/48 scale Tamiya P-51B Mustang built as a rare two-seater field conversion.

The aircraft was Serial Number 42-106894, attached to the 4th FG, USAAF based at Debden in the United Kingdom. This aircraft crashed on 1 April 1945 while being flown by Fred Glover.

This model was photographed at the recent 2008 Scale ACT Model Show, held in Canberra.
