Trumpeter's 1/350 scale USS Saratoga is available online from Squadron

Here are some photos of my 1/350 Trumpeter CV-3 Saratoga in a 1939 configuration. The aircraft include Buffalos, Vindicators, and Devastators in "yellow wing" markings. I used White Ensign paints and photoetch from Gold Medal and Tom's Modelworks. The deck is from Nautilus Models.

The hardest part of the build was joining the upper and lower hulls. The fit is not good and there isn't much to hold it together. I persisted after lots of epoxy, putty, and repeated coats of primer.
