CAM decals has always produced fine quality decal sheets and these releases are up to their usual high standards.

These six sheets depict schemes and data markings for Air National Guard F-100D Super Sabres.

The decals are designed for the Trumpeter 1/32 scale kit.  The decals are superbly printed by Microscale and as usual with this company the decals have good colour saturation and excellent register.  As usual the carrier film is ultra thin and my experience with CAM decals that I have used in the past is that the decals have to be handled carefully and snuggle down into the surface detail well.  I always use decal setting solution but this is not necessary with these decals.  The carrier film then almost totally disappears under a coat of clear.

A separate sheet P32-012 contains all the data decals necessary to completely deck out your kit as the main sheets only contain the full national markings and Air National Guard Squadron Markings.

The instruction sheets are in full glossy print clearly showing the location of each decal.  The decal sheets provided for review are all in the South East Asia scheme with markings as follows:

  • Sheet P32-012 F-100D Airframe Data Stencils. This sheet contains a complete set of data stencils including wing walkway markings.

  • Sheet P32-013 F-100D 63-082 flown by the Louisiana ANG 122nd Tactical Fighter Squadron

  • Sheet P32-014 F-100D 62-942 flown by the Ohio ANG 112th Tactical Fighter Squadron

  • Sheet P32-015 F-100D 63-093 flown by the Georgia ANG 128th Tactical Fighter Squadron

  • Sheet P32-016 F-100D 56-979 flown by the Indiana ANG 113th Tactical Fighter Squadron

  • Sheet P32-017 F-100D 53-669 flown by the Texas ANG 182th Tactical Fighter Squadron

  • Sheet P32-018 F-100D 52-816 flown by the Colorado ANG 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron
