Special Hobby #SH32016

1/32 Mohawk Mk.IV „Hawk with Cyclone engine“

(Pictured at the top of the page)

Originally, the Curtiss H-75A-4 fitted with Wright Cyclone engine, was ordered by France and Great Britain in 1939, but due to the defeat of France, most of them were taken over by Great Britain. The aircraft was designated the Mohawk Mk.IV. Most of the machines were sent to India and rushed into action against Japanese with moderate success. The kit contains 5 sprues with grey plastic parts, injected clear parts, detailed resin and color photo-etched parts. Decals supplied offer two RAF machines assigned to India. Each has a different style of national insignias that show the development of the national insignias at Indian theatre.

Special Hobby #SH48078

1/48 Fokker D.XXI 3. sarja „with Mercury engine“

The Fokker D.XXI is associated with the defense of Holland in 1940, but above all it is the symbol of the brave fight of small Finland against the aggressive communist Soviet Union. Finnish pilots during the Winter War and Continuation War fought successfully against the overwhelming force of the Red Army. This highly detailed kit contains 4 sprues with grey plastic parts, injected clear parts, detailed resin engine, other resin parts and photo-etched parts. It can be build either with wheels or skis. Decals supplied offer four Finnish camouflages (three machines, one of them in two different appearances) including J. Sarvanto’s machine, in which he shot down six Soviet DB-3 bombers in one skirmish.
