This is an excellent decal sheet produced by Alley Cat decals in 1/72 ACD 72005, 1/48 ACD48006 and 1/32 ACD32001 scale depicting eight Hellcats including one from PMTC and seven operation “Crossroads” Hellcat Drones.

The decals are superbly printed by Fantasy Print Shop with good colour saturation and excellent register.  As usual the carrier film is ultra thin.

The marking options are as follows:

  • Grumman Hellcat F6F-5K, serial number NP45-027495 based at the Point Mugu Training centre Naval Air Field in February 1950.  The aircraft is finished in Insignia Red upper surfaces and Florescent Orange lower surfaces.
