Tamiya's 1/32 scale
Mustang Mk.IVA

by Ed Kinney

North American Mustang Mk.IVA

Tamiya's 1/32 scale P-51D/K Mustang is available online from Squadron

Description

Here is my Tamiya 1/32nd Mustang: RCAF Wing Cdr. J. Storrars aircraft that differed from other Mustangs in that it had no headrest or seat armor, and swung an Aeromaster prop.

It was in the process of being modified to a two seater as depicted by this build.

Red Roo prop blades, landing gear by Ernie Gee & ammo belts by Eduard are the only items other than box stock.

Base coats of Tamiya gloss aluminum with 5 shades of Alclad ll.

Trim colors are special mixes of Testor Model Master enamels.

Decals by Xtradecals were also used.

This is truly an outstanding kit ,but following directions is a must...
