These figures sets come in Brengun’s standard card header with cellophane bag attached by staples. No painting instructions are provided, so some research will be needed for accurate finishing.

The figures are very nicely mastered, although the RAF pilot has quite a large head I think; both figures are crisply cast. Some flash between the legs will need cleaning up, but this is easy to do. The twin figures in each pack are identical.

Despite being labeled a MiG-21 pilot, the jet pilot could obviously suit a number of subjects, as can the WW2 RAF pilot.

These figures offer a nice way to add interest and a degree of scale reference to 1/144th aircraft models. They are good quality, although the inclusion of painting guides might have made the packages more compete.

I admire those modellers willing to tackle painting figures in this tiny scale.

Recommended.

Thanks to Brengun Models for the review sample.
