Maurizio Di Terlizzi has sent images and information on the newest releases from Tail Boom Models - a full-sized multimedia kit of the British WWII Spade Grip:

Here is my latest item in full scale, the so-called Spade Grip, the control stick grip that was fitted to the early marks of the famous British fighter planes, such as the Spitfire and Hurricane.

Composed of non-toxic resin with small metal and rubber parts, it may be completed according to your choice as a Spitfire grip, or Hurricane grip.

The very first examples of a limited-run are now available at a price of 72€. I hope you like it!

Footnote - Rocker Gun Button Wanted:

The Author is now looking for an original rocker gun button for cannon-armed Spitfires, to make and cast this additional part to complete the spade grip as Mks Ibs, Vbs, IXs and all the cannon armed versions of this plane. Considering the rarity of such original item, if the donor trusts, it will be held just the time to do the casting, then sent back as an insured package together with a RAF spade grip model kit as a gift.
