Description

Here's my latest completion, and my first finished aircraft model of 2015.

This is my Revell 1/32 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8. This is a brand-new kit that is due for release shortly. Mine was built from a late set of test-shot sprues.

I really like this kit. Shapes look very accurate, detail is good - including a decent engine, engineering is modeller-friendly, ordnance is plentiful and fit is excellent.

I built the kit almost straight from the box. The only extras used were due to the absence of kit decals. For the instrument dials, I used a combination of Airscale and MDC decals.

The model was painted using my Testor Aztek airbrush fitted with the tan-coloured Fine tip.

The striking markings scheme is from EagleCals' Item No. EC#91, "Fw 190 F-8s Luftflotte 4, SG2 & SG10".

This model will be written up in detail in Issue 49 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.

Revell model kits are available from all good toy and model retailers. For details visit www.revell.de/en, @RevellGermany or facebook.com/Revell
