Advantages:

Excellent production quality; detailed configuration information for each subject; good value.

Disadvantages:

No paint guide as such (although all aircraft are simply overall Aircraft Gray, so it's a no brainer really).

Conclusions:

These are beautifully produced decals offering a good range of interesting and colourful options. Highly Recommended.

F i r s t L o o k

 

 

Fündekals' much anticipated F-106 Delta Dart decals have now been released in the choice of either 1/72 or 1/48 scales.

The 1/72 scale set is printed on a single full-sized decal sheet while 1/48 scale is spread across two separate releases with a full sheet in each.

All the subjects are finished in the usual overall glossy Aircraft Gray, but they feature a veritable rainbow of coloured fins, fuselage flashes and more.

The decals are printed in perfect register and the colours look great.

The decals are delivered in a ziplock plastic bag without instructions or cover sheets, helping to keep the price down. The instructions are available free to download from Fundekals' website. They offer details plus two colour side views of each aircraft.

National markings and stencil markings are not included but are available as separate releases from Fundekals.

 

 

C o n c l u s i o n

 

Fundekals has producted a high quality decal offering for anyone building the F-106 Delta Dart in 1/72 or 1/48 scales.

These will be particularly welcome for the superb Meng 1/72 scale kit.

Colours and registration are perfect, and the downloadable PDF instructions are attractive and include useful background information.

Highly Recommended.
