Aviaeology Decals has produced a fine quality series of decal sheets depicting the Typhoon MK.1 Early National Markings May 1942 to January 1945 (AOD24C08) and Airframe Stencil/Data (AOD24503).

The data decals are an improvement over those supplied in the 1/24 Airfix kit and includes some that are not included by Airfix.  All the text is clearly printed and can be easily read.

The national markings are more accurate in colour than those supplied by Airfix in particular the Insignia Red is slightly darker.

The decals are superbly printed with good colour saturation and excellent register.  The carrier film is ultra thin and the decals will need to be handled carefully and should snuggle down into the surface detail well.  The carrier film should then almost totally disappear under a coat of clear.

The two sheets may be purchased individually or as a discounted Combo for the two releases.

In summary, these are two excellent sheets by Aviaeology Decals.
