Fündekal produces a line of fine quality decal sheets printed by Cartograf of Italy with this sheet depicting the national markings and data for the North American Mustang P-51D in1/48 scale.

Produced from NAA factory drawings, the Fündekal P-51D/K stencil data was re-created using the original and unique style of lettering seen on the actual aircraft.  The sheet includes all of the external stencil markings found on the factory documents, as well as some extra items to bring your 1/48 P-51D/K to life. Fündekal have included several highly visible cockpit stencils.

The decals are superbly printed with good colour saturation and excellent register.  The carrier film is ultra-thin and will need to be handled carefully and should snuggle down into the surface detail well.  I always use decal setting solution with decals but this does not to look necessary with these decals.  The carrier film will almost totally disappear under a coat of clear.

The instruction sheet does not come with the decals but is available to download from the Fundekals website and is in full colour.
