Iliad Design of Canada has released a new decals sheet that will be ideal for the recently released Airfix 1/72 scale B-25C/D Mitchell.

Five Mitchells are covered on the sheet. They are finihe in variety of camouflaged ans natural metal schemes:

  • B-25B Mitchell, 3rd Antisubmarine Sqn., Westover Field Mass. 1942. Finished in Sea Search scheme of Olive Drab over White.

  • B-25C Mitchell, Columbia, South Carolina. 1942. Finished in Olive Drab over Neutral Grey with Medium Green blotches.

  • B-25D Mitchell, 487th BS, 340th BG, Sicily, late 1943. Finished in Sand and Olive Drab over Neutral Grey.

  • B-25C Mitchell, New Guinea, mid-1943. Finished in overall bare metal. Both turrets had been removed.

Instructions are offered over a folded A4 sheet in full colour, with side plus upper and lower views plus notes on the camouflage and units.

Decals are printed perfectly on my sample, and colours look good.

These are five interesting subjects for your 1/72 Mitchell, whether they be Aifix or otherwise.
