Conclusion:

This release will be very welcome for anyone planning to build the forthcoming Kinetic 1/48 scale Harrier GR.3, or who has the old Tamiya or Airfix kits stashed away. Personally though, I'll be waiting for the Kinetic kit!

Xtradecal continues its ambitious new release schedule with two new decal sheets for early RAF Harriers.

I am examining the second instalment in 1/48 scale focusing on Harrier GR.3 subjects. Eight subjects are covered.

 

A selection of finishes are available here - mainly variations on the 1970s camouflage of Dark Sea Grey and Dark Green wraparound scheme, but also some experimental winter, green and grey schemes.

National markings is included.

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.
