FirstLook

This is the first time that I have reviewed decals from this manufacturer and I must say I am very impressed.  The decals are very thin and crisply printed.  Window decals are provided as are windscreens.  These come in two styles.  Either clear with the window outline or a solid grey colour with the window outline.  Door frames and some data decals are also provided.

The company has produced two sets of decals that cover 737 -300, -400, -500, and a -800 that are all in use with various South American Air Forces.

The schemes depicted in 44003 are as follows:

  • 737-800 Fueza Aerea Mexicana, BAM No.1 Santa Lucia in 2018. The aircraft is in overall dark grey, including the wings and tailplanes.

  • 737-500  Fuerza Aera Del Peru.  Escuadron De Transport 841 Aeropuerto Internacianal. Jorge Chavez Lima-Callao Peru.  Two schemes are provided the 2015 lo-viz scheme and 2018 hi-viz scheme. The aircraft is painted in overall FS36173 grey.

Included is a very nice set of windscreen masks containing two options for the different variants.

The four 737 schemes depicted in 44004 are as follows:

  • 737 -300 Fuerza Aerea De Chile Grupe De Aviacion No.10 Base Aerea Pudahuel, Santiago De Chile 2010.  The aircraft is finished in overall FS36375 light grey.

  • 737 -300 Fuerza Aerea De Chile Grupe De Aviacion No.10 Base Aerea Pudahuel, Santiago De Chile 2017.  The aircraft is finished in overall FS36320 grey  with the rudder painted in FS1544.

  • 737-400 Escuadron De Transporte 811, Comando Aereo de Transporte Militar Bogota Columbia 2015.  The aircraft is finished in FS36173 upper surfaces and FS36375 lower surfaces.  This aircraft has a yellow flash on the tail with the title Cronos.

  • 737-400 Escuadron De Transporte 811, Comando Aereo de Transporte Militar Bogota Columbia 2015.  The aircraft is finished in FS36173 upper surfaces and FS36375 lower surfaces. This aircraft has a yellow flash on the tail with the title Atlas.

A set of cockpit window masks is also provided along with nose and anti-glare panel mask for the Columbian aircraft.

Some of the 737 versions have a reinforced doubler plate at the bottom of the cargo door opening.  These are provided as vinyl stickers and two are in natural metal.
