Wingnut Wings' 1/32 scale
Hansa-Brandenburg W.12

by David Kimbrell

Hansa-Brandenburg W.12

Description

This is the WNW 1/32 scale Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 kit built from the box except for machineguns from Gaspatch and two figures from Wings Cockpits. The water was done with clear resin (in thin layers) using artist acrylic gel to create the waves. The buoy was made from scratch.

The scene depicts the plane waiting to take off on patrol.

#1184 was part of a flight of three which shot down a British airship on December 11, 1917.
