This is Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2/Trop "Red 1", flown by Hauptman Werner Schroer, Staffelkapitan 8.JG/ 27, Rhodes, circa February, 1943.

It is the 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit built out-of-the-box except for the Verlinden resin tropical filter.

I like to occasionally build a subject closed canopy so you can see the true lines of the aircraft.
