Rafale B

Here is Revell's 1/48 Rafale B.

The Revell kit is very good,and it is basically the same as Rafale M kit. However, it has three minor flaws:

The light at the top of the vertical stabilizer should not be there (At least it does not appear at my photos.)Unfortunately I discovered it after the kit has been finished.

 

 

The kit loadout does not appear in any of the photos. According to the kit instructions, the metallic tanks should be attached to the inboard pylons and Matra Magic missiles should be attached to the wingtips. I did not built the kit as instructed and ended up with a loadout which appears on the photos I have.

 

 

The wing to fuselage joints are a bit hard to fill at the underside.

 

 

Other than these minor shortcomings, the kit was fun to build.
