Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4

 Revell-Monogram's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4  and
Aires 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 Detail Set
are both available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here is my Revell-Monogram Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 in 1/48 scale.

I added the Aires detail set that supplies the full cockpit, engines and nose gun bay.

Other scratchbuilt parts include the opened access covers, oil tanks on wings, undercarriage bays and canopy.

My subject was coded G9+HT. This Bf 110 was found at Fritzlar airfield in Germany during May l945 by American troops.

I used Aeromaster acrylics for the paint finish - RLM 76 with mottling in RLM 75, propeller in RLM 70, and internal structures in RLM 02 and RLM 66.

I also used Eduard Express Mask for masking the canopy. Using of Express Mask is very easy, fast and accurate.

Decals are Aeromaster for both markings and stencils.
