Description

This is the old ESCI F-104G large-scale cockpit. I painted all the instruments and panels with black paint then dry-brushed in grey to give this big cockpit a realistic finish.

The ejection seat is the Martin Baker GQ-7/A as used in European Starfighters. The seat is full of details including the harness, oxygen hose and Anti-G tube.

The helmet was not familiar to me so I modified it to a Gentex HGU-26 - the standard helmet in use with the AMI at the time. I detailed the converted helmet with headset and an MBU/5 Oxygen Mask, then painted on the markings for the 51st Wing, 22 Fighter Group of the Italian Air Force.
