Description

This kit is a Fairey III F floatplane in 1/600th scale from White Ensign Models. The model is a resin kit with photoetched parts.

The resin fuselage is attached to the lower wings. The upper resin wing is attached using four etched struts. The resin floats are attached with two etched struts or you can use the etched wheels. The Scarff ring and Lewis gun are seperate pieces.

The plane's markings are left-overs from various 1/700th scale kits.

The plane belongs to HMS Hood and is mounted on her aft catapult. She is painted white with a touch of grey overall and silver accents on panels, floats, etc. The gun and ring are flat black as is the two blade etched propeller.
