Hawker Hurricane IIb

 Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Hurricane IIb is available online from Squadron.com

This is the Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane Mk IIB built straight from the box with the exception of the decals which are from Superscale set 48-560 and replace the thick kit ones.

The only difficulty was in trying to blend in the lower under wing fuselage join which doesn't fall on a panel line but is smack in the middle of the fabric detail.

Weathering was done with pastels and drybrushing and a light coat of the base sand color was dusted over the decals to simulate fading.
