IJN Midget Submarine
A-Target Type A

Here is a recently finished Fine Molds 1/72 scale model of an Imperial Japanese Navy midget submarine, designated A-Target Type A.

A friend bought this kit for me.

I first built this vessel as a vacform kit from Wings 72 . Some of the detail from the damaged vacform model was used on the injected kit.

I had a lot of fun building this sub. It went together easly.

I painted a very dark gray and weathered it. I mounted it on a wood base.

This is a nice model of an interesting submarine
