Macchi MB-326H

Supermodel's 1/72 scale Aermacchi MB-326 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here is a picture of my Supermodel 1/72 scale Aermacchi MB-326H in RAAF markings which I believe was locally built as the CA-30.

The model was constructed straight from the box and was a joy to build. I will definitely be buying a few more to depict other RAAF squadrons.  This one is from 2OCU based at RAAF Pearce in WA.

I used Humbrol and Model Master paints throughout. I did not apply weathering as the picture I have shows this particular aircraft to be as clean as a whistle.

The kit decals were average - a bit too opaque as you maybe able to tell from the wing roundels.  I also had a few problems getting the decals to sit down properly.

I'm planning on building the RAAF's entire inventory, so I'll hopefully send an article of the Fujimi 1/72 F/A-18 sometime soon!
