Description

Here are a couple of pics of a Tamiya Tyrannosaurus Rex kit that my nine year old son Andrew made last year.

He came up with the color scheme himself after looking at a picture of a TBF Avenger. Don't know if T-Rexs had to worry about getting shot at by Zeros, but who am I to tell! I think it actually turned out pretty good.

The only help he received from Dad was an adjustment to the double action airbrush so that he could use it like a single action and a few tips on dry-brushing.

I have included the picture of him winning the first place trophy in his division at last years TamiyaCon contest. He almost missed the announcement as he was busy playing his portable Gameboy with another kid when they called his name.
