A-4C Skyhawk

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale A-4C Skyhawk is available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here is Hasegawa's A-4B/C Skyhawk kit.

The model was built mostly straight out of the box except for the additions required to turn it into an Argentina bird. I used my usual techniques that you are aware of. Gunze paints used throughout sprayed with an Iwata HP-BC airbrush. Modifications for the Argentina version include adding the round antennas on the tail with wire; sculpting the black radome on the top of the fuselage from plasticard and adding the top red navigation light from the spares box.

The paint scheme was taken from Issue 5.9 of Scale Aviation Modeler International Latin Hawks. Decals are from a small company called FM.

A total of 30 hours was invested in the project.
