A-4F Skyhawk

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale A-4E/F Skyhawk is available online from Squadron

This is the Hasegawa A-4 Skyhawk E/F kit in 1/48 scale.

The model was built straight out of the box thanks to the good engineering on Hasegawa's part!

The kit decals were used for the USS Bon Homme Richard option.

The kit did not come with any weapons so I used the KMC Rocket Launcher, and the Hasegawa weapons set for the MK 82 's .

I made a base and added some of the Hasegawa Aircraft maintenance set to enhance the base.

This was a beautiful kit to build , I used Gunze and Tamiya paints for the plane and Alclad 2 for the exhaust nozzle. The canopy was dipped in Future and I finished the model with a final coat of Gunze clear flat.

I would like to thank David Aungst for his help responding to the many emails I sent him . David explained  a lot of techniques and information on the Skyhawk. I could not have finished this project without his help.
