A-4F Skyhawk

Hasegawa's A-4E/F Skyhawk is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my Hasegawa 1/48 scale A-4F Skyhawk.

This is a beautiful kit and one of the easiest builds I've had the pleasure of doing. I used the Cutting edge cockpit, which isn't really much, since the kit cockpit tub looks great already. The weapons are the old, out of production KMC Napalm canisters. I don't know if that's a correct loadout and if not...I make no apologies....I do this for fun.

Finishing was done with Tamiya paints this time. I used XF19 Sky Grey, mixed with white, for the light grey and gloss white for the undersides. A gloss coat went over this and then the decals.

The decals are from CAM.

A wash of raw umber thinned with lighter fluid followed and then the entire kit was flat coated with Humbrol flat.
