Here is my 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2/Trop in 1:48 scale from Hasegawa.

The model depicts W.Nr. 14160, the plane flown by Oberst Günter Freiherr von Maltzahn, Kommodore of 2./JG 53, Cosimo (Sicily) in April 1943.

I scratchbuilt the holders of the tropical filter and also added photo etched seatbelts. Some rod and hypodermic needles were also used.

The kit was painted using Model Master paints and weathered by artist oils.
