Messerschmitt Bf 110G-2

Revell's 1/48 scale Bf 110G-2 "Wespen" is available online from Squadron

Description

The twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a famous fighter of World War Two, despite it not being efficient as a normal fighter. Its salvation was in the attack function and night fighter. This model here was attached to ZG 27 that operated in 1944 in Austria.

I built Revell/Monogram's 1/48 Bf 110G-2 out of the box. It is an easy model to build. I added accessories including photo-etched belts, resin wheels, cables and sprue antennas, weapons of hypodermic needles.

Painting was in RLM 74 and 75. Lower surfaces were painted RLM 76. Spinners are in Red and White.
