Boeing 707/KC-137

Heller's 1/72 scale Boeing 707-300 is available online from Squadron

Description

This is the Heller 1/72 scale kit of the Boeing 707-320. The model is simple and well moulded. It also leaves a big impression due to its size!

The Boeing 707 was such a great success that the Smithsonian declared it as one of the 12 most important airplanes in the history of the aviation.

The FAB – Força Aérea Brasileira (Brazilian Air Force) was interested in the 707 to complement its KC-130 Hercules. Four examples were purchased - a 707-320C, 324C two 345Cs. They would be modified to KC-137 standard, as they had been for other air forces including Canada. They also performed the transport function and one of them was transformed into a Presidential airliner for some time.
