Dewoitine D.520

Here are some images of my 1/48 Tamiya Dewoitine D.520.

This model represents an aircraft flown by Lieutenant Pierre Le Borgne, Groupe de chasse II/7, 4ieme Escadrille while based at Alger, Algeria in June 1940. The information for this model was provided by Pierre Le Borgne and details of its operational use were obtained from his flight log book.

The model represents the airframe which Le Borgne picked up at the factory and flew to Algeria the following day. The weathering has been kept to the absolute minimum as the model depicts the aircraft as it was, after less than two weeks in service.
