Focke-Wulf Fw 190S-8

Dragon's 1/48 scale Fw 190A-8 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

Here is my Fw 190S-8 training two-seater in 1/48 scale.

The plane was based in Münchendorf / Wien (Austria) at the training school unit 1./JG 110 around the end of 1944. Most training aircraft were unarmed to ensure better weight in flight. The place in front of cockpit (now unarmed) was used to install a fuel tank to replace the one that was deleted due to the installation of the rear cockpit.

The kit is by Dragon with the conversion from Paragon Designs. I added brake lines an belts, and some electric cable at the instruments for the instructor.

The model was painted using enamels from Model Master and weathered with artist oils.
