P-51D Mustang

 Hasegawa's 1/72 scale P-51D Mustang is available online from Squadron

Here are some photos of my Hasegawa 1/72 scale P-51D Mustang.

It represents P-51D "Tiny Gay Baba" of the 46th Fighter Squadron, 21th Fighter Group, based on Iwo Jima during 1945

You can see it in Squadron's P-51D Walkaround on page 31.

I used the following after-market items to detail and finish this kit:

• Aires cockpit

• Squadron canopy

• True Details wheels

• Decals from Aeromaster

• Weapons and gear bays scratchbuilt

• Browing cal.50 Aires,

• 110 gallon metal drop tanks scratchbuilt.
