Rafale B "Humpback"

Revell's 1/48 scale Rafale M is available online from Squadron.com

This is the Revell 1/48 scale kit of the 2-seater Rafale.

I'd been waiting a considerable amount of time for this particular kit as it's one of my favorite aircraft. I also prefer 2-seaters over single seaters. Two place modern aircraft usually mean more bombs and less missiles. I like seeing fighters with all kinds of stuff hanging off of the bottom.

Anyway, a pal of mine sent me some shots of a Rafale with Conformal Fuel tanks on the dorsal area and I knew I just had to "Ugly it up" by making these.

I built the conformal tanks in the same manner as I did with my MIG 29UBT. I used magi-sculpt with some 1/48 scale line drawings in order to sculpt them.
