Tupolev TB-3
with 2 Polikarpov I-16s

ICM's 1/72 scale TB-3 with two I-16 Fighters is available online from Squadron

Here is my TB-3 with 2 x I-16 "parasite fighters" which I built two years ago. This is the ICM 1/72 scale kit.

The TB-3 was the main Soviet heavy bomber throughout the 1930s.

I have some photos of options and decide to build this project alone. I used two kits of I-16 type 24 (I needed type 18) and scratch built wiring to the TB-3 with metal wire, diameter 1.5.

I decide to display the completed model in flight. I think it looks much more interesting!
