Description

Here is my Tamiya (repackaged Italeri) 1/72 scale Jaguar Gr.I.

On it, my smallest nose-art (about 1 centimeter tall) is painted. It was very difficult work, but finished somehow.

I engraved new lines and some rivets, because most of panel-lines are not correct. I also "rounded" the cross sectional profile between the nose cone and the windscreen by building up with super glue super glue.

I had real trouble matching my interpretation of desert pink. I made five or six attempts before I was happy.

...and adding the line every time which faded away , I am unsatisfied with the result of the line. It was a project with much reflection for me.

I painted the nose art and most of marks. (but “RESCUE” “Z” of tail, and weapon’s are decals).

I exchanged the kit's clear part with my own replacement. The pilot was remodeled from old Hasegawa's kit. I created a visor from clear plastic and painted the inside black.

I did not use the after-market parts except Hasegawa’s weapons.

Gears and the speed-brakes were carefully adjusted according to the real thing
