				Aires'
1/48 scale Fw 190 Engine Set will be available online from
            Squadron.com

Aires has released a superdetailed engine set for Eduard's excellent new
		Fw 190 A-8 kit.
In addition to the engine itself, this set includes intricate mounts,
exquisite cowlings and fully detailed cowl guns and ammo feeds/chutes.

A compete replacement wheel bay is also included in this
comprehensive set. The wheel bay set is beautifully detailed, featuring excellent
structural elements. Replacement cannon barrels, hollowed out at the
muzzle, are also included. It is important to note that the main resin
wheel bay part is cast onto a long block which will have to be
completely removed prior to installation. You will need to check that
the thickness of the resin does not interfere with the fit of the kit's
upper wing and cockpit before committing to glue too.
The cowls are a definite improvement over the kit parts, with deep,
		authentic detail cast in place.

Even more detail is provided on the large photo-etched
		fret.

The limitations of plastic injection moulding technology
means that the kit parts cannot compare to the amazing detail provided
in this set. Aires has delivered a real masterpiece here.
The price to be paid for this uncompromising detail will
be plentiful time, care and skill. Considering the pile of individual
cylinders, the maze of manifolds and exhausts and the tiny detail parts,
this is no beginner's project. You will need all of the following:

			-

substantial experience working with resin
			accessories
			-

patience and care
			-

a willingness to trim, fit, test fit and repeat as
			many times as necessary, and
			-

the right attitude

With these ingredients added to Aires' tasty resin mix,
you have the potential to produce a truly remarkable replica of the
		famous Butcher Bird.
		Recommended to very experienced modellers.
Thanks to Aires for the sample

		Aires
		accessories and conversions are available
		online from Aires website
and in retail model shops worldwide
