Eduard continues its prolific release schedule with a number of recent
releases in all scales from 1/144 to 1/24.
We have a selection of October's 1/72 scale releases here for examination. All the
detail sets are
supplied in colour pre-painted or unpainted photo-etched metal.
Another recent innovation by the ingenious Eduard
company is that the colour frets in all these releases are now
self-adhesive. This will eliminate the risk of obscuring detail on tiny
parts by smearing them with glue. The self-adhesive parts will require
careful handling to maintain the effectiveness of the glue, and precise
placement too.
The self-adhesive parts are packed on a protective
backing sheet.
1/72 scale
73 286 - He 219 Uhu (Self Adhesive
Colour)
Colour detail parts are included in this two-fret detail
set covering the interior and exterior of Dragon's recently re-released
1/72 scale He 219 Uhu kit.
The colour parts are focused on the cockpit, with
instrument panels, side consoles, radios, switches and harnesses
delicately printed on self-adhesive photo etch.
The second fret contains parts for the wheel wells and
exterior.

Eduard's photo-etched set Interior set for Hasegawa's recent 1/72
scale Ju 88 C kit comprises two frets that will add a wealth of detail
to the cockpit. One fret for the interior is in
full colour, including the instrument panel, side console, radio faces,
switch panel and other smaller details. This sheet is self adhesive.
Colour harness straps for all crew members are included in this set.
The single fret exterior set provides replacements for
some of the overscale kit items including the radar, aileron actuators
and more.

73 307 - B-26F/G Marauder for Hasegawa (Self Adhesive Colour)
The cockpit and fuselage interior of Hasegawa's new 1/72 scale
Marauder is treated to Eduard's detail fest with this new photo etched
fret comprising two sheets. The colour photo etched fret includes a
beautifully detailed instrument panel, throttle quadrant and all
harnesses. All colour parts are self adhesive so, with careful handling,
no adhesive will be required.
The second and larger fret supplies details for the main
fuselage interior, plus ammunition for the .50 cal guns.
