Three Interior Sets for Trumpeter

Pavla turns its attention to the Trumpeter 1/48 scale Wellington with three recent resin releases.

Pavla C 48010 - Vickers Wellington Mk.IC Cockpit

This resin cockpit, pictured in the title image above, includes the rear bulkhead, floor, pilot's seat with harness and backrest cast in place, instrument panel, rudder dedals, control yoke and more. All parts are very well detailed and this set will represent an improvement over the parts supplied in the Trumpeter kit.

Pavla U 48-16 - Vickers Wellington Mk.IC Navigator & Radio Operator Compartment

With this set, you will be able to match the high level of detail in the cockpit. Seats, bulkhead, floor, radio equipment and navigation gear is included in this highly detailed set. You will have to supply your own lap belts for the seats though.

Pavla U 48-18 - Vickers Wellington FN5 Gun Turrets

Two highly detailed gun turret structures, including the gunner's seats and the guns themselves, will be a great enhancement behind Trumpeter's clear plastic.

Casting quality for all sets is excellent, with no pin holes or other imperfections apparent on any of my samples. There is some wafer-thin flash present, which can be tidied up with a swipe of a sharp hobby knife. One of the armrests on the navigator's seat was broken off in transit, but this will easily be repaired.

Resin parts are mainly cast to each block via fine strips, so removal will not be a great chore.

Trumpeter's 1/48 scale Wellington is a very nice kit in most respects, and these three resin sets will add even more detail and appeal to this big kit.
