Ultracast has released five detail sets for Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Macchi C.202 and 205 kits.

48173 - Macchi C.202/205 Seat (with Harness)

48174 - Macchi C.202/205 Seat (without Harness)

Ultracast's first accessory, part number 48173, is a replacement pilot's seat with armoured headrest, backrest and harness, including the characteristic (and rather masochistic looking) chain restraining the forward strap. The layered effect is very impressive, and should look wonderful under a careful paint job. The resin part is pictured at the top of the page.

Part number 48174 is the same seat sans harness and backrest. This will be an ideal choice if you prefer photo-etched harness sets, or to make your own.

Either of these seats will make a prominent and attractive addition to your Hasegawa 1/48 scale Macchi fighters.

46175 - Macchi C.202/205 Wheels (smooth tyres)

48176 - Macchi C.202/205 Wheels (radial tread)

Ultracast's latest wheels are also designed for the Hasegawa Folgore/Veltro kits. They are both beautifully detailed and perfectly cast.

The only difference between these two releases are the tread pattern. One has a smooth tyre, while the second features a radial tread pattern.

These wheels may also be suitable for Macchi C.200, Fiat G.50 and other Italian WWII fighters, but they have been specifically designed to fit the Hasegawa Macchi C.202 and C.205 kits.

48177 - Macchi C.205 Exhausts

Ultracast also give the treatment to Macchi C.205's exhausts. These are perfectly cast, with hollowed out ends and petite raised weld beads. They are a drop-fit replacement for the Hasegawa kit parts.

This is another simple but very effective accessory for your Hasegawa Veltro.
