Eduard has released a new set of decals for 357th FG P-51D-5 Mustangs.

These decals will be suitable for either the Tamiya or Revell 1/32 scale P-51D-5 filletless kits.

Eduard's decal set offers five marking options.

I'll leave it to you to decide whether these aircraft were finished in US factory colours or repainted in local RAF stocks.

Camouflage for all five aircraft is either Olive Drab / RAF Dark Green with high demarcation over bare metal, or Olive Drab / Dark Green over Neutral Grey / Medium Sea Grey with a low fuselage demarcation.

All subjects feature the distinctive 357th FG yellow and red nose and spinner markings, invason stripes and unique nose art.

There is plenty of colour and variety here!

Eduard has kindly taken care of the most challenging aspect of these schemes by providing four sets of nose chequer decals.

The instructions are supplied on six A5-sized pages in full colour. Each subject is covered in four view illustrations - two sides, top and bottom.

Colour callouts are provided for Gunze acrylics, Mr Color lacquers and Mission Models paints.

The decal sheets are glossy and well printed by Eduard.

One set of national markings are included.

Stencil markings are not included.

This set of decals some colourful options for 357th FG fans building Tamiya's or Revell's 1/32 scale P-51D-5 Mustang.

Thanks to Eduard for the sample.
